Lauren Kemps-Thibodeaux has always had the heart of an entrepreneur. From a young age, she vividly remembers setting up her toy cash register and selling crafts and treats to her family. Her entrepreneurial spirit continued through college, where she launched a baking business as a side hustle, and after law school, she and her mother started an online boutique. Entrepreneurship is woven into the fabric of who she is.
For her undergraduate education, Lauren attended Sam Houston State University. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. Through tenacity, dedication, determination, and diligence, she graduated law school with Cum Laude honors and received her Juris Doctorate from the illustrious Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While there, she completed mediation training and became a Certified Civil Mediator. She then went on to conquer the Texas Bar Exam and became a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.
In February 2021, Lauren took a bold step of faith and founded LKT Law Office®. As an entrepreneur herself, she understands the immense effort and passion that goes into building a business and is deeply committed to helping others protect what they’ve worked so hard to create – their dreams and legacies.
